More Reasons?...Great ROI (Return on Involvement)
When you give time to the Chicago Windows User Group, you will get a great
return on your involvement. CWUG is ramping up a broad slate of activities
for local IT professionals to get more from MS Windows Server 2003.
 |
Networking: Members
can attend bi-monthly community gatherings which will
be designed to establish and maintain personal connections
among members.
Communications: Members can contribute to a monthly newsletter that
will promote ideas and best practices, and which will be the voice for
the local "WS2K3" community. They will also have the option to
acquire a CWUG.NET e-mail alias communicating with other members.
Learning: The User Group will organize and sponsor both formal and
informal technical presentations on aspects of Windows-related products.
CWUG will also create special training groups focused on preparing members
for Windows certifications (both MS and non-MS). It will establish a special
hands-on lab for Windows training to be delivered during technical meetings.
Online Resources: The center of interaction for CWUG will be a web-based
portal which promotes the exchange of ideas and provide an area to post
and answer technical questions.
Community Action: We shall create opportunities
for our members to contribute their IT expertise to those
who otherwise would not have access to good technology
resources, such as other non-for-profits, schools, and
community organizations.
